Review on 🕐 CASIO G-Shock GG1000-1A5 Quartz Watch with Resin Strap - Beige, 30 by Diana Johnson

This watch was worn for around 18 months alternating with my other watches. The watch has been used in an office environment and has never been abused. Well, the analog part of the watch stopped working, the hands got stuck and didn't rotate around the dial. I contacted Asurion about the warranty, they were very helpful and sent the watch to them free of charge. Two weeks have passed and I have never been notified of the receipt of the watch or the repair process. It has been 3 weeks now and I received an email saying Asurion could not repair the watch and they are sending the watch to Casio for a quote to repair the watch. It takes up to two weeks just to get an estimate and another four to six weeks to get my watch back. Why should I participate in the evaluation process? So buyers beware, yes you save money when you buy a watch through Revain, but you don't have a manufacturer's warranty, which is important unless you happen to need a repair. So now it looks like I've been without the watch for over three months and still don't know if it can be repaired or if I can get a gift card to replace it. I've been told I can't get a new watch if they can't fix the watch in question. I will not buy Casio products through Revain, I will buy them from an authorized retailer. RENEW ! Today 10/3/2018 the watch came back from Casio, they fixed a new motherboard and it only took seven weeks from start to finish. It still felt like waiting too long for the watch to be repaired, it cost me nothing but time (get it), pun intended.
