Skip outlandish prices elsewhere; these wicks are amazing!

The value for money is undeniable. I usually avoid substitutes and took a chance by ordering them. I am very happy to report that these lamp diffuser wicks are as good as a French company looking to discourage potential "fake brand" buyers. The ceramic ring clings very well and firmly to the bottleneck and does not deform over time. The pottery itself has far outlived the hallmark and my use of burns has not given up. The great length of the wick touches the bottom of the vessel and the material used is of excellent quality. I will definitely buy again. Update: As another reviewer astutely pointed out: you MUST use them correctly. Read the instructions carefully * folks. a vessel filled with oil (I set the timer for at least an hour), hold the lighter close to the ceramic ring until a small blue flame lights up. Make sure this weak flame ignites the entire ring. BLOW THE FLAME. Only when the flame is extinguished can the smell be released/the oil diffuse. Place the cover with the ventilation holes on top. The instructions say it should take about 20 minutes.; In these 20 minutes, the scent spreads. During this time you should not see the flame, however faint it may be. I leave mine at 30w with the timer on my phone on. After this time, place a hard cap over the ceramic ring to stop the diffuser. like a candle.) For you who didn't blow out the initial flame and think the smell will come out, I am sorry to say that you are using it incorrectly and are just literally burning expensive fuel/oil. No odor on the wick, prevents it from sitting/absorbing for about an hour when you FIRST time fill the vessel OR when the wick is completely dry. ALL this information is available via LAMP instructions, not a wick (instructions) or online peep.
