Great for casual wear, but not for shirt and tie
The picture makes it hard to tell, but the neckline is not very low at all.
If wearing a tie underneath, only the knot will show whereas other V-neck sweaters will give [at least] a 3-inch low gap to space for tie and shirt visual.
