Review on Halo Vegan Dog Food: High-Quality Plant-Based Dry Food for Adult Dogs by Laura Pena

So grateful to have found this food! Having personally switched to a vegan diet for health and ethical reasons, it seemed counterintuitive to continue unintentionally supporting factory farming through my pup's diet. the most economical choice. Unfortunately, after about a month my dog (2 years old, average weight 70 pounds) developed stomach problems. Then we tried V Dog again, for the first month or two she was fine, she started getting stomach problems from eating. I was ready to get her back to fish food as I didn't want to jeopardize her health when I miraculously stumbled upon a vegan halo recipe! When comparing the ingredients of NB/V Dog/Halo I noticed a big difference in the absence of grain in the Halo formula. Thought it might be worth a try to see if the lack of grain makes a difference and I'm so glad we did! The beetle has done a great job with this formula and we are now about three months old. No stomach problems, endless energy, shiny coat. No complaints! Okay, I have ONE complaint (it's more of a question). Halo - PLEASE can you sell this in bulk?! For those of us with larger breeds, it would be much more convenient to have 20 or 30 pound bags available :)
