Works great This pedal works great and feels much better than the original push button pedals that came with these Singer machines. If I could change just one thing, I would make the pedal weigh a pound. or two but if you put a little velcro on the bottom of this foot pedal and put it on a small mat I'm sure it will hold it up very well. I haven't tried any solutions to keep the pedal in the same position. smooth and I also have to admit that I have machines that cost around $1000 and in fact they all have the same problem these days: the pedals are very light. All in all this is a great pedal and I would buy it without hesitation. one as a backup, even if my current pedal was working fine.
