I originally wanted to return it because I thought it wouldn't work with my M2 SATA SSD. If they included some basic steps it would help them. Here's a quick guide on how to use this adapter: 1. Unscrew the two small screws on the flat end opposite the USB port.2. Plug the USB cable into the port. This will push the board out of the side you just opened, allowing you to remove it. (See photo). It was the only way to push the board.3. This works with M.2 SATA SSDs with B or M+B keys (see manual). Insert the SSD card so that the 5 pins are on the side next to the button (see photo).4. Screw the M.2 SSD with the supplied screws. I put a rubber gasket on the head of the screw.5. Slide the circuit board back into the case and fasten the 2 screws on the front.
