Shelf spacing too small for heels + one TIP

ONE Assembly TIP: Install the top shelf first while the shelf frame is still flexible, otherwise the low rungs at the top will make it difficult to tip the top shelf. The other shelves slide in easily once the top shelf is in place. I bought a total of six sets. Overall I'm happy with it BUT my biggest disappointment is that the shelf clearance is too small for many of my heels. (See attached video.) This is a major disadvantage for women who wear heels unless you use multiple sets side-by-side and have enough top shelf space. Even just an inch of shelf height would probably change my rating to 5 stars. Otherwise it's amazing. Their best feature is the durable metal mesh that provides the shoe with a firm "ground" to keep heels from wobbling, wobbling, or falling off. (Ironically, this makes them one of the more convenient places to put high heels.) Shoes don't fall between the bars, even children's shoes. Men's shoes are designed for 3 pairs. Ladies fit 4 pairs in width. Other Pros: Looks good. They appear to be well made. Easy assembly - you don't even need a screwdriver. In fact, my kids helped me and my 5 year old could probably assemble the shelf almost by himself. The ability to configure them both stacked and non-stacked is a plus (although they must be made in multiples of 3; the 3 tier shelf is a single unit and unfortunately cannot be assembled with other parts). All hardware is removable so it can be configured differently later. Other Cons: It would be great if they could be completely disassembled into shelves to fully customize the configuration, but that's not the case. huge scam and i knew i would do it. I also see the price as a disadvantage. I paid about $25 for a 3 tier set which I think is pretty cool. Yes, they're well made, but they're not stunning or huge. I cringe when I think of how little shoe room I get for $25. I actually prefer the bronze color, but at $5 a set, the price was no longer justified. Another shelving system I argued about was this: SONGMICS 10-Tier Shoe Rack 50 pairs of shoe pads. Organizer Cabinet Black ULSH11H , rated 4.8 stars and over 500 reviews. There are 10 shelves that can be taken apart shelf by shelf so this is fully customizable in every increment. It's not as flashy as this Seville system, but it has a firm bottom, seems to go with heels, and is significantly cheaper ($40). And I would only have to buy ONE Songmics if I buy 6 Sevilles. The ONLY reason I didn't prefer Songmic's Seville is because it's longer than Seville. I either needed something MUCH longer so I could fit on fewer shelves so I wouldn't bump into my long dresses OR I needed something shorter so I could fit taller. Songmics was right in the middle where I still needed too much vertical height and that would cause problems in my small closet. However, if you have more flexibility or a different case size/shape, Songmics might be worth a look. Looking back, I wish I had bought Songmics. If no shelving system was perfect, it would be nice to spend €110 LESS. Overall I am not happy with these shelves. In a way 3 stars doesn't accurately reflect the quality as I think these are good shelves and have many unique features which were the key reason for choosing these shelves. But since I particularly liked the fact that an "on the floor" shelf would be perfect for my heels, I just can't get over the fact that the shelves aren't high enough for the heels. See the attached video for more details and visual effects.
