The camera was very easy to install. The connections appear secure and watertight. You connect the camera transmitter to the reversing lights and you're done. You can connect a monitor or just plug it into a standard cigarette lighter socket. I connected the camera and monitor to a relay so I can turn it on whenever I want and also turn everything on when I put reverse gear. Since it's wireless, it takes a second to start up and pick up a signal, but it could be two seconds. The image from the camera is clear, everything is visible. Important note: Go to your monitor settings and rotate the image on the camera so that the right side of the screen represents the right side of the car. I didn't notice any video lag and static like others have said. I installed it in a pickup truck, so the signal lasts longer than in a car. Washed twice in the car wash, no problems with the camera yet. My only complaint is that I need a smaller monitor for a more hidden setup.
