Everything is fine. Wanted a regular VCR to play some old VHS movies, this player jumps and jumps a bit but it works. Beware of worldwide distributors, however, the archaic "we can compensate shipping and handling” mentality benefits from online sales. I paid 1/3 the price of the VCR for shipping and handling because I didn't understand the fine print.
