Review on Metra FRST Amplified Retention Module by Todd Hauff

After installing the product, the radio worked but none of the steering wheel controls and synchronization worked. When I first received the item I said it did not look like the item I was replacing but was assured it was the correct item. After reading the programming manual for my car, I noticed that it directs me to help functions that aren't even in the product (code indicator LED). When I wrote asking again if this really was the right product I was told to contact METRA for help. METRA tried to help me through the programming process, but after repeating the same processes I had tried for hours, I was stuck with an overpriced factory wiring harness without the benefits I originally bought the item for. Very disappointed with the product and customer support.
