The plastic film was cut from a larger and wider roll. The edges weren't very smooth, and it looked like it was being rolled over a rough concrete floor or stone driveway. and where it was cut off at the rear, someone walked along a rough surface and punched numerous "dents" and small holes and "punctures" either in or through the plastic. I bought this to make an "umbrella" over a 10ft x 10ft shelter, which is good quality, but after extended periods of rain the seams eventually let water seep through. metal frame and fall to the ground. I've previously made one with 6mm plastic that I bought from a big store, which worked fine, but the sun ruined the plastic (a few years) to the point that I had to replace it. I don't know how long this 'greenhouse' plastic will last (they say 4 years but I think then it 'doubles' ie 2 coats which doubles the cost) but it's quite embarrassing to get hold of , and he's already abused it. I was willing to send it back because I was pretty disgusted, but we had three or four days of steady rain so I had to do something and just bite the bullet. I am not happy with the way the item was handled before it was sent to me. I've worked with this stuff a lot in the past and know exactly what happened; Some carefree "Hof" folks assigned to cut a piece for this client couldn't figure out (or didn't care) how to cut it. without stepping on it and thereby damaging the foil. I'm not happy but under the circumstances I had to leave with a damaged item. Next time I'll just get the item from the big box store as it's cheaper anyway and I think it can last just as long anyway. So I would only recommend "with caution”. I have photos but I can't upload them from my phone to my computer due to an error, but I can later or I can send them to someone from my phone.
