Review on Eyocean LED Reading Light: Dimmable Clamp Lamp for Bed Headboard, Bedroom, Office - 3 Modes, 9 Dimming Levels, Flexible Clip Desk Lamp by Richard Cartner

03/11/2020: I've only had this lamp (white model) for 1 day, so I can't say anything about the durability of the lamp. Noticing some feedback regarding the heat, I decided to report the data I had collected in one day. This light has 3 color modes: warm, daylight and mixed. Mixed mode produces the most light and uses the most energy (according to my wattmeter, a constant 5.5 watts at maximum intensity). I left the light on at full power for 6 hours and then measured the heat: PSU at max surface temp was 96F/35C. The back of the lamphead was at 112F/44C. Although the back of the lamphead was visibly hot to the touch, it wasn't hot enough to burn a finger. (Even if life is "like a box of chocolates" I wouldn't use this lamp for lighting. ;-) ) On to the other qualities of the lamps: The clamp works well on flat surfaces and also securely clamps 1 vertical steel rod with a diameter of ” without slip. The neck of the lamp easily retained its shape even when stretched horizontally (parallel to the ground). report after using it for a more useful period.
