Review on 🚙 iJDMTOY 35-966 Scoop Light Bar for 2016-up Toyota Tacoma: Includes (1) 60W High Power LED Lightbar, Hood Bulge Mounting Brackets, and On/Off Switch Wiring Kit by Rod Evans

I like the light for its function in the "dummy" bucket on the Tacoma hood. However, I expected more for €100. First, it doesn't have instructions, so all you have to do is figure out how to disassemble the shovel to install it. 2d, the "special" bar mounts are no different than the other mounts that come with the lightbar and they actually allow the lightbar to sit high. I had to turn the mount on its side so the lightbar lay flat on the base leaving a large gap between the mount and the plastic base of the shovel. This way the light will look much cleaner, but don't over-tighten the mount from below or it will sag at the bottom of the plastic. I considered using shims to fill the gap but didn't have enough at the time and didn't want it to look like crap because you can still see all the hardware through the vent if you look closely. The light itself is bright and again a great concept. Just think I could find a similar solution that's a quarter the price and maybe even a longer bar to fill more buckets. But I, like you, probably read a lot of reviews about it, and everyone loved it. Be honest folks so others (like me) know what to expect and can consider something cheaper.
