I wanted an RTX 3080. Like everyone else. The problem is that no reputable retailer stocks them as of this writing. Also, if you can find it on the open market, it's going to be ridiculously expensive. With that in mind, I decided to buy the entire system to get it. I wouldn't normally do that, but the circumstances made the risk worth it. In any case, the good news is that I received my 3080 and it is not a sterilized LHR model. Thank God I achieved my main goal. The rest of the components seem adequate; nothing I can't deal with somehow (whether left or separate will be determined). The weakest link might be the RAM, but as an enthusiast I already had updated parts on hand. The same applies to pre-installed software. I can easily deploy my own Linux or Win10 LTSC. If there was one thing that stood out, it was the attention paid to protecting the inside of the PC for shipping. Carefully placed foam cores ensure the GPU doesn't move or pick up too much vibration during transport.
