This LG 4K Ultra Multi Region Blu-ray Player has been modified to play DVDs and Blu-ray Discs from around the world. This is great for collectors and it really works. I was able to purchase the Shape series Blu-ray set, which I believe was only available in region 2. I was also able to get Britian's Dad's Army and they work great on the device. The real problem is that Blu-rays sometimes crash and sometimes I have trouble playing disc even if I press button #2 for region 2. Sometimes this can be fixed after a while, but other times they just won't play. It's annoying and a problem big enough to deduct a few stars. Image quality is good. 4K and Bluray look particularly good. This is a good player for the price. DVDs from other regions play seamlessly and automatically without having to enter a region number. Also Blu-ray discs that didn't work properly on my old Sony Blu-ray player work great on this one. So I'm very happy with it.
