I have a couple of metal shelves and I leave a handful of them hanging down the sides just to be (very) handy when something is needed quickly. For example, hang up empty grocery bags to put in the car later. Or put on an extension so it doesn't touch the floor. However. And I have a lot of everything"everything". They are always on duty.
