Review on πŸš™ Enhance Your Jeep Wrangler's Style & Protection: E-cowlboy Trim Gear Frame Cover Gear Shift Box Cover (Red, 2012~2018) by Nick Moody

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing to worry about. A little disappointed but ok

Not really suitable for the console. (As you can see on the bottom left, the "p-park" button AND the slot on the top right.) I followed the recommended instructions / previous reviewers who said take a hair dryer or lighter to lighten the glue help. on the back became more sticky and it didn't work at all. Because when I went to install it I thought that the heat is just expanding the product due to the heat and thought that maybe that's why it doesn't fit. no I let it sit and cool down for a bit (it's winter so it was able to cool down pretty quickly). I went back to install it and it still doesn't fit at all. But I like the way it looks, and I've had no luck with Jeep accessories, so I really didn't feel like returning it (although I definitely would without a second thought). Instead I think I'll be buying extra 3M tape to try and stick it to EVERYTHING as the existing adhesive backing CRAPS. And I think I could take the blade of the scissors and shave or cut off the sides that are too big. Of course I can't fault spots where it's too small, but I'll give up at this point, I just wish there was something nice in my jeep. Please. This is my rating. It sucks but I can't take care of it or return it. If you buy this be prepared to take additional steps to get it working and even then it still doesn't fit in certain places. Update *in a few days*: I bought 3M tape, trimmed the sides and I got it working. It's very cute, just annoying that it claims laser cut accuracy, but I had to do a few extra steps and purchases to get it working. The extra 3M tape holds it pretty well. It's cute, which is why I think I was finally happy with the end result.
