Review on HONGO Portable Computer 1920×1080 Protector Smart Pen Hole: Tilt Adjustment, Frameless Design, Plug And Play – HON-P15A by Paulo Alves

I've had it for over a year and it still works great. I was one of the cheapest portable monitors back then. Good screen quality and light weight. It also has good viewing angles. The included case/stand is good for protection but only good for support. It has several predefined angles. You need a flat surface to use it, and a large work surface isn't always available when traveling. You can remove it from the case. It is attached with two large screws that remain attached to the case. It has VESA mounting holes which is a nice touch. HDR isn't supported, but that's the name of the monitor Windows says it is. It does have a manual HDR mode, but as far as I can tell it only lowers the contrast/brightness to correct the display of HDR content and doesn't support true HDR. At least Revain's listing doesn't mention HDR and doesn't try to sell it as a feature for this monitor. It comes with all the cables you need to connect via USB-C or HDMI, including a wall charger. It supports power pass-through, so you can connect a USB-C charger either to your device or to this monitor. Not sure about the max power but I've used it with a laptop that needs 45w charging and it works fine. The best thing I have found about this monitor when using it with various devices is the Micro USB OTG port. . You can connect a USB hub to this port using an OTG adapter and use this monitor with keyboards, mice and cameras with a device that only has a USB-C port. Without this OTG port, you would be limited to just using Bluetooth accessories. Then use this monitor with a Steam Deck, DEX-enabled Galaxy Tab, or Chromebook tablet. In all the situations I found myself in I was very fortunate to be able to use USB. This is the best cheap portable monitor I've seen and the OTG connection makes it versatile too. would recommend.
