just lightning speed out of this M.2 I noticed it's choking, thermal throttling so I placed an internal fan blowing right over the heatsink, no more throttling. very satisfied, passmark rating on my rig is over 32000, upgraded from a much older SSD which was a passmark 2500. Be prepared to add a fan to blow around the heatsink, but other than that, even if it slowed down, it was still 10x faster than my older ssd.update: the drive started making errors, it froze weirdly, now it's completely dead. There's still time to bring it back.
