Review on 💎 Diamond Multimedia AMD Radeon HD 5450 1GB GDDR3 Video Graphics Card with Low Profile Enhanced Heatsink by Michael Staton

My old tower has a PCI Express slot. The fan hummed, obviously failing. I don't play games so all I needed was a graphics card that would support my 22" DVI monitor. Under $50 and a heatsink instead of a fan seemed like the perfect combination. Diamond has been in business for a long time. I ignored bad reviews like no driver or difficult to install etc. as non-technical handling error. Bought, installed and the silence was golden. But right away I noticed subtle issues like left-click speed that needed to be slowed down. After a while it started to fade for us within seconds. Then on Thursday I received my award for Turkey. Turning on the BIOS gave 6 long beeps. adapter error. There is only 1 adapter, graphics card. Tried cleaning and reinstalling to no avail. Got an old noisy card and booted up fine. After a 30 day return to Revain. So I have to deal with a company 3,000 miles away to get a one-year warranty on a product under $50.
