Works better than the serial port for the old weather station

My new computer does not have the serial port required for my old weather station. StarTech's USB to serial adapter was easy to set up. Let Windows 10 find the driver. It works better than when it was plugged into my old computer's serial port. I tried another brand adapter that didn't work well with my weather station. It appeared, then it disappeared. Startek works.
