I once worked on a very tough 1970's Terramite boom cylinder but ended up making my own. Go to the cargo docks and buy the cheapest set of adjustable wrenches and the cheapest set of drills. should only cost <$20. Drill a hole in each key jaw and push in the two halves of the drill shank. Viola, adjustable durable wrench.
