I simply used the metal blade on my rotozip to cut the sheet metal, then the sheet metal screws quickly secured it and covered my uneven hole. I plugged it into the oven outlet and it worked right away. If the lightbulb ever burns out, it only takes a few minutes to replace it. I was looking for a simple option for our rented cabin as a COVID safety measure and we got exactly what we wanted at a great price. Driven for a few months with no problems. I've noticed a slight glow in the next room, if you have a very short throw duct the light can bounce and make your faucet glow. Since it is not direct light, there is no danger.
