The only problem is that the mount doesn't fully lock into the detector, but it is good enough for the way my wife drives her sedan.BTW, I have only used a Valentine 1 detectors on my Dinan badged road-course modified BMW M3s since it came out about 30 years ago. [Valentine designed the original Escort before going out on his own.] Now, I use the Valentine 1 Gen 2. IMO, the best of the best. I like that when bands change or when laser first came in, you don't have to buy a new detector. You just send it back to Valentine & they upgrade it. For an expensive top-of-the-line detector, that's a real plus.
