The casing was very tough, and matched the descriptive picture of the product well. Trying to install the casing was a pain, and resulted in a few sore fingers, but proved how durable the case was. The only problem is that the bottom half of the case restricts how much you can open up your macbook. This is a rather large problem, as in lecture halls without desks, I need the full range of motion for the laptop in order to both see the ongoing lecture and take notes.If this were on a desk it wouldn't be a problem, however I know that this problem is mostly a personal preference.all in all, 3/5 stars personally. Great potential for DIY fixing of the range-of-motion issue, but not one that I am willing to take.
