The picture quality is pretty good if you buy cables that actually work with cameras and a recorder. The ones that came with our system didn't work, but we may have encountered poor quality cables. We had to shell out $40 for a brand new set, but the company was willing to work with us to find a solution. ***Update*** The customer service at this company is amazing. They have been very helpful, they support their products and take responsibility for resolving any issues that may arise when installing this security system. In the end it was a positive experience and I wholeheartedly recommend them! I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their help! I would definitely recommend this system to friends and family. :)
