I ordered a Himox air purifier for a specific time of the year i. H. Fire Season. Living on the West Coast and having seen fires every year for the past several years, I would rather enjoy the fresh air in my home than have to deal with another summer of terrible air quality. Rather than wait for the right time and pay double for a sub-par air purifier, I figured I'd start early to be more than ready. So here's my review so far: This is a simple machine that does exactly what it says on the tin. I really like how it picks up air from the bottom and sends it up. This is useful as the air can be consumed. One feature I found is that the filter runs at a higher speed instead of a lower speed because it circulates the air a little better. The filter is easily accessible by sliding it down from the bottom of the machine and thoroughly dusting it. As far as I know, additional filters can be purchased online. I'll do it as soon as this one goes bad. Do I have any problems with this? Not really. This is a simple device that I hope works. When the smoke rises I may update this review. That's all!
