My 7 year old son is obsessed with leather jackets and has been begging for a new one for a year. I ran him through a number of options and he settled on this one. He is almost 8 years old but a bit short for his age, about the height of an average 7 year old. Together we decided that the size of 9-10 will be the best idea, oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohyyyyyyyyhi it weeds more before they grow of them. I was hoping it wouldn't be too big for him and in fact it fits him perfectly with plenty of room to grow. It's a beautiful stone black color, medium thick, soft and he loves to wear it every day. This jacket has two possibly minor flaws; One of these zippers sometimes comes loose a bit and gets stuck at the beginning, but that's an easy fix, just make sure you fully insert the teeth into the zipper before zipping up. Second, there are no proper pockets which is a bit of a letdown for my son but doesn't take away from how much he loves the jacket in general.
