I had a situation where we were showing a video with several interviews to honor a pastor of our church. My Blu-ray player only had an HDMI output and the projector I connected it to had no audio output. I had to connect the audio to the sound system in the hall where the celebration was going to take place. I placed an order for J-Tech on Monday afternoon and the unit arrived in good condition on Wednesday afternoon. It was celebrated on Thursday. I connected the device in series between the Blu-Ray player and the projector, took the audio output and sent it to the auditorium's PA system. It worked great. The vacation lasted several hours. The audio was very clear and the video was of the highest quality. This device saved me. I'm also very happy that it can play both 2-channel stereo and 5.1-channel digital surround sound. It's too early to speak about the durability of the device as this is only the first time I've used it, but I plan to use it in the future.
