I am very happy with this purchase. I've been using a self-cleaning electric shaver for almost a decade, but I wanted to reduce the amount of plastic used. And since I had to replace the cleaning cartridge about every 4 weeks, which is not recyclable, I decided to try a regular shaver. I first bought a full metal reversible razor and let's just say it didn't work. If your dad showed you a little Tp trick, you would need a full roll of Tp after you shave. So after a lot of research I bought this razor and am amazed at how well it works. My face hasn't been that smooth since I had enough peach fuzz to warrant a shave. I read some reviews saying the grip is too slippery, I don't think it is. And a few years ago I had a stroke that still affects my ability to hold objects. I know replacement shaving heads are made out of plastic, but I found a company that 100% recycles the material. However, I'd still like to see Gillette find a way to completely eliminate plastic from their razors. I absolutely recommend this razor to anyone who needs to make a razor choice.
