The bottle is very impressive, the spout is fine. If you insert the spout and push in with some force, it works great; no leaks. However, to refill, the silver part was separated from the rubber so it was a two step process and it took a bit of fiddling to get the silver tube back into the rubber seal. Filling a bottle requires a steady hand or a funnel. I have a steady hand and can easily pour from one bottle to another. The bottle is a good size and looks great in the kitchen. Great price and easy to recommend.
