We already have some tools for our Beam 294 in the basement but I finally decided I wanted a set for the top floor so I don't have to pull the hose up every time because there is one A bit of a trip and fall hazard when pulling the hose up the stairs as it flops and is long and can snag on banisters and banisters on stairs etc. I am VERY HAPPY with this set, it was worth it. Money. The wide mouth carpet cleaner is the best I've ever had and cleans almost as well as the Powercat nozzle we have but without the problems that the Powercat has (ie clogs easily). Also, the extension tube has a very nice telescopic design, unlike our old gear which was just tubes connected together. I would say the price is worth it, a very good central vacuum, in many cases good enough you don't even need a powerhead, this set does it all! UPDATE 1: I bought a trolley (see photo) to store this center set and it works great! The tube rolls up perfectly in the bag and you can store the tube and all accessories in one bag, so you can carry the bag that is removed from the trolley to another floor in an easy-to-carry bag!
