First off, I'm a HUGE ROG fan. Literally every PC I own is a ROG. When I saw that the 700 had Bluetooth and I could go wireless and still have my own RGB, I was blown away. I also have a Fusion 500 so I expected them to be the same. Most importantly, YES, they can connect directly to your Bluetooth-enabled computer via Bluetooth and work 100% wirelessly. Unfortunately, RGB only works when the included USB cable is connected. It's kind of a shame because they're basically no different than the 500s I already own. The second crap has to do with 7.1 surround sound. As with the 500, you only have one driver. In this case, virtual 7.1 sound sounds flat. If you turn it off and set it to DTS Sound Unbound, it sounds MUCH better. The last crap when you unplug the line is definitely NOT a smooth transition to BT. You lose your audio stream and need to restart Bluetooth or PC to restore it. If you plug it back in, you'll have to do the same thing again. This makes the "disconnect from P" option more of an option. I hate to say it, but ultimately I wish I'd just bought a Fusion Wireless so I could at least get a fingerprint-free finish. Or just play with my 500s at the end, because basically they are no different. They're definitely not a quality alternative to my Bose in the world, so I don't see them leaving my desk. Since I'm all about Aura Sync, I don't see myself ever turning it off either. Basically I just bought the boosted charging version of the 500. Damn. I still love the ROG and they're still great headphones, but not the "Wireless 500" I was hoping for.
