These lights are great! I should have received an 8 piece set. I have one under each lower frame rail, one under each side of the gas tank, one behind the horn mount and one behind the air cleaner. Need two for the rear fender to light the rear wheel. I got them to brighten me up at night. I live out of town so it's very dark. I use a white or amber light so I don't draw police attention with all the other colors and flashing features. I sealed the slack with electrical tape (I would cut it off but I didn't want to fix all the solder points and possibly ruin some of the Chinese electronics) then carefully tucked everything under the seat and secured with zip ties. Take the time to do it carefully and you'll love the result. Update: I scraped the headlights off the bottom of the frame rails when loading my bike onto a trailer. I lowered the bike 2 inches and it got stuck on the edge of the trailer. It is best to mount the lights inside or outside the frame rails, not directly underneath. Also just get a kit with lots of lights, 6 isn't enough to detail the entire bike.
