My son wanted to be a tiger on circus day at school and this little act seemed to work. My only concern was that others said it was very warm here and circus day was in June. However, we were lucky because the day turned out to be rainy, dreary and it was warm and cozy all day. He is 6 years old and smaller for his age. I went for a size 130 and although you can see the legs are a bit baggy it wasn't excessive and I'm actually glad it has some room to grow. He liked the costume so much that he likes to wear it around the house and he told me that he wants to be a tiger on Halloween. I'm not calling it a win just yet since you know how indecisive kids can be about their Halloween costume. It can definitely double as pajamas, although I would say it would only be suitable in the dead of winter as it is very warm. My kids sleep sweetly so maybe this would be just the thing for your kid. The material is very soft and appears to be sewn very well. The only thing I can't attest to at the moment is how it survives multiple washes.
