It's a beautiful rich golden color. I would say the color is close to 18k gold. I have a collection of engagement rings (a bit odd I know) and I find this to be a very typical example of a tungsten carbide yellow gold ring - in shape, shape and colour. I recommend 6mm for most people. It is comfortable inside and out and also visible. Expect this strap to be a workhorse and will keep its color tone for a long time with minimal scratches.
