I'm a photographer so I bought a monocular to use with my iPhone 8 Plus. using the included camera mount; I can take high quality pictures of distant stationary objects. It's very difficult to use a monocular to photograph moving objects like birds, but that's to be expected. Unlike using a regular camera, it is not easy to photograph wild animals that do not stay in one place for at least half a minute because the phone and mount combination is a little cumbersome. I was hoping to photograph birds but found that as soon as I'm ready to take a picture, they fly away. Of course, if you have a bird feeder, it's a lot easier than trying to photograph birds in the wild. With that in mind I am giving this monocular a 5 star rating as I feel it is capable of taking great photos and excels when used for viewing purposes only.
