These discs are probably best suited for 14-25 year olds who play outdoors. Discs fly best at high speeds, so those who want to throw and run long distances will probably do best with them. Their 12 inch diameter and substantial weight make them "questionable" for younger children. The light is attractive but the electronics are quirky. They usually work well, but sometimes it takes multiple attempts to turn on the light. Even a slight bump can cause the light to go out. If you need a disc to play with a dog under 50 pounds, you may find that these discs have too much momentum for your dog's comfort, even for hunting.
