First time works. Now it doesn't work anymore.

I was able to connect USB devices, SD cards etc. with it for about 2 months. Then all of a sudden I get the message "USB accessories disabled - Disable accessories that use too much power to re-enable USB devices". I get the message even if nothing is connected to the adapter! Following the suggestions in the FAQ, I connected the power adapter, but I still get the same message. Now it's just a paperweight. Very bad quality.
