My Sentra had semi-random misfires which I feared would be the end of my Sentra. I tried parts from the junkyard because I didn't want to invest a lot of money in the car. The junkyard parts turned out to be just as bad as the ones I had! I end up ordering new parts for the old car and it's like magic. the misfires are gone. I tried replacing the coils as the problem was in one cylinder but that never fixed the problem. Maybe the compression in this cylinder was worse than in others? Could the old coils in this cylinder be leaking? Maybe the electrical impulse for this cylinder wasn't that strong? Who knows? However, the car runs like new again, apart from the rough gear changes. but hey, it's not a coil problem!
