We'd love it if it could handle the heat. I guess I never thought about the heat when I bought this item because it was for the car and I figured you just left the car stuff in the car. This is not possible with this article. It is great! If you buy this make sure you take it out of your car if you live in a hot place like Florida. I don't think it lasted more than a day and a half or two. Melted to the point where the mounts won't open and close to fit the iPhone 12 Promax. I think it was just sort of fixed. If you are forgetful, don't buy because it will be ruined. I'm sad that this product seemed to have had so much potential but just couldn't take the heat :-(
