For years we've only slept on flannel sheets, which is odd considering where we live, summer can hit 100-110 degrees during the day and linger in the 90s at night. But my husband is something. Specific. about how sheets feel, that's how flannel has always been. Our last set (from another brand) was old and ragged so it was time to get a new set. They are like clouds. I am deeply impressed by how soft and fluffy they are. On a chilly morning I *really* don't want to get out of bed! Too comfortable! I like the deep pockets on it as my mattress is quite high and we have toppers on it (about 15 inches total). One detail that's a little annoying but doesn't bother us (for us) is that despite the corner pockets working well, the sides and ends (the spaces between the corners) are pulled out and won't fit under the sheet. Since everything sits tightly around the corners and serves its purpose, this is not a functional problem when you sleep, just an aesthetic problem. and the blankets will take care of it. For a queen sized sheet, the top sheet is also a decent width. I don't know about other queen bed owners, but we struggled for a very long time with the top sheets being too narrow (even when sleeping on a thin futon). They look fine and dandy when the bed is made but empty, but as soon as you put two people (and not big ones) under those sheets, suddenly one of those two people is starved and falls asleep, only half covered with sheets. Sheet. Not these sheets! Each of us can comfortably snuggle up in soft fluffiness on a cold night and feel warm and cozy. All in all, if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
