These pants look as expected and are perfect for our needs. I read all the reviews I could find to figure out what size to order. My 8 year old daughter wears a size 7/8 for most shirts and dresses and a size 7 for pants and jeans. She is about 50 inches and 53 pounds. I ended up ordering a size 8 based on the reviews. They arrived and were huge. I sent them back with free returns and ordered a size 7. The size 7 waist was still large, but I was able to tighten the waist just enough with the adjustable waist for me to wear it. The length is a bit long but you can wear it. I also agree with other reviewers that using the word "stretch" when describing these pants is a stretch. They had no real return.
