Good dense material, lined, size 6 fits a thin 4.5 year old girl, hasn't worn it yet
The material is not flimsy nylon like some other brands. It has some padding just enough to keep you warm. A size 6 fits my tall (4ft) thin (45lbs) girlfriend very well. A slightly loose side that is not a problem as there are many layers underneath. Not too long and she could use it next year.
