Review on 🛶 Yellow Suspenz Folding Kayak Rack, 16.5" x 15 by Brian Wersching

I bought this kayak holder to mount my AIRE Super Lynx kayak on my garage wall. I agree with other reviewers that the brackets are not designed to screw into 2x4 wall studs. You can put one screw in the stud but not the other. I had to make two brackets from 2x4 and use screws to attach them to the studs. I'm a perfectionist so it took me about an hour to cut, sand, drill and paint four wood anchor brackets and then attach the brackets to the kayak with 1 1/2" T25 head screws. Another benefit of using them of wooden blocks.is that they allow the kayak to be tilted slightly backwards so it doesn't fall forward while I attach the tether around it and to the hook on the wall.I would like more fasteners.Metal tube,anchor bracket and high quality Linings.I only put the four because of the design of the brackets.The rack has worked well for me.
