Like other reviews I smell something chemical. I don't know if it's wood(?) or paint. My eyes even burned as I walked into the living room. I didn't want to keep it as it smells in my son's room. So I wiped it down a couple of times with Clorox wipes, I used a fan to blow that weird chemical smell away but I don't think it will go away completely. Although it looks beautiful and is very durable. The reason I bought this was because I figured I could fit big, hard toys like big wooden puzzles and some big cars. I already have another soft cloth(?) toy organizer from Target (about twenty dollars), it's odorless and fairly durable. Certainly not as strong as this one. I still prefer Target because of the smell. I bought it for indoor use and am very concerned about the chemical smell when I put it in my son's room. Hopefully that goes away soon but as per other reviews. I don't expect much.
