Good replacement with high price

While it's not as expensive as the Apple Pro Display XDR, it's still a pretty pricy investment. It's worth the cost to me as I appreciate the collaboration between LG and Apple. It has all the right features and generally works great with my new Mac Mini (M1). The display is nice and clear. The sound is average. Anyway, I don't expect anything special from monitor speakers, so don't worry about that. The microphone and camera seem to work well. No worse than the previous iMac I had. One issue I've had is that when waking from sleep, the 1-inch portion of the center of the display sometimes seems misaligned. This one section is offset a few millimeters higher than the rest, which is annoying. Image and text do not match. Unplugging the Thunderbolt 3 cable and plugging it back in fixes the issue. I have no issues with the display not waking up as others have reported. I'm also putting off buying the LG Monitor app as reviews suggest it's not compatible with Apple M1-based Macs. The LG settings in the system settings are the most important. Screen resolution options are not listed by number, but by selected preset.
