Review on 💡 Westinghouse Lighting 7224200 Comet - Stylish Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light in Matte Black by Jeff Shapiro

I'm amazed at how quickly other reviewers claim to have installed this Westinghouse Comet fan! I ordered and received the fan from Revain in no time. I then ordered an improved fan mount. It arrived and I found the mount would not work on my I-trusses. So I ordered another mount and received it a week later. I dropped one of the tiny lock washers while installing the fan. Of course he hit one of the small holes in the motor housing. I removed the case and was finally able to shake out the washing machine. When installing the case I found I had nowhere to attach the ground wire as I had already attached the ground wire to the box at home. I disassembled everything again and connected the ground wire to chassis ground, lifted the chassis again, revealing the blades. Wow what a test! Some screws and washers fell out; up and down the stairs to find them, and finally to attach the blades. Overall I would say I can have 8 hours. One review says 10 minutes. Anyway, it finally worked. Very good! Well balanced, good airflow, subdued but adequate lighting, very quiet operation, beautiful appearance. The only change I would make if I did it again would be to hire a guy who did it in 10 minutes!
