I like having a wallet to keep some cards and some cash with me, but there are downsides: 1) Giving my phone to someone to look at something or take a photo I don't do it. I don't want to give them a wallet. And 2) the wallet that covers the screen doesn't fit in the phone holder on my car's dashboard. (This is very important given that I use navigation apps every day to avoid traffic.) This case is the perfect solution. I bought it for my new iPhone XR. - The magnet holding the phone only part is strong enough - Don't worry about the phone falling out of the case if I drop it. "Unlike the other two cases I tried first, the magnetic closure that keeps the case closed is also strong enough to protect my phone and screen well if dropped. - The detachable strap is durable and well designed - The case is easy to use with or without it and also easy to remove/reattach when needed. - The build quality is solid. The embossed design is nicely aligned, with sharp edges and a premium look. (Not just badly printed.) The color is nice. Although the page is a bit thick, it'll do - I have 5 cards in 4 slots, plus health insurance cards and some folded bills in my pocket behind. , and I feel like I could fit more in if I wanted to and still be close. Definitely fits better than other wallets I tried first. In addition, excellent protection even if I remove part of the wallet. I tried 2 other cases and returned them. It's a keeper! UPDATE: 11 months later still 5 stars! I still use the case every day. They dropped it on the asphalt and in the mud, stuffed it in handbags and got wet. all the everyday things you would expect a clumsy office worker to do. Signs of use are surprisingly small. The pockets have stretched a bit after a year of stuffing cards in and out, but they're still holding up well. The magnets are still doing their job and even the detachable strap (which I use regularly) is still in great condition.
