• Packing: Packed very well with other products. Free shipping with Revain Prime in less than 48 hours. Product: Arrived as expected, disassembled. It looks very strong and sturdy, all parts are metal. Assembling the cage is a bit clunky and I had to adjust the position of the top and bottom plates so I could access the battery compartment on my Canon 5DMKII. In order to change the position of the plates, they must be unscrewed and then screwed back into place, although this is not a difficult task. You need to start assembling the cage from the top plate, preferably with the chamber upside down, which isn't as obvious as every other cage/bar system I've worked with, bottom to top. The first time it took me a good 30 minutes to set up the cage, camera and other accessories (rod system, follow focus, field monitor, all together). In other words, while I'm hoping now that I know the routine to be quicker, it's not a cage, you just plug in your camera and start filming, prepare to spend some time assembling it . very convenient to use and goes very well with all kinds of accessories. I attached a top handle and a folding arm with a monitor on it. I also attached the cage to the base of the camera with rod clamps for use with the follow focus, long lens mount, and a set of grips. BTW, when using tracking focus, beware of short lenses or lenses where the focus ring is too close to the camera body, as the focus tracking unit may bump against the top plate and vertical sidebar of the frame. especially when using these adapter rings around a non-cinema lens. In my case, I think I can't use my Canon EF 50mm F1.4 post-focus because the focus ring isn't on the front of the lens, it's in the middle. This doesn't happen with any other lens in my kit (EF24-70L f2.8, EF16-35L f2.8, EF70-200L f2.8 IS, EF100L f2.8 macro). All in all I really liked the cage. .I will update this review with any worth mentioning information as I test it over time.
